There are daily ferry services connecting Syros with the port of Piraeus both during the winter and the summer as well.
The duration of the voyage is four hours with the old styled conventional vessels, three hours and a half with the new type conventional vessels and two hours and a half with speedboats.
Syros has a maritime connection during the whole year with Piraeus, with the island complex of Cyclades, with the island complex of Dodecanese, with Heraklion of Crete, with Thessaloniki and Skiathos.
